More Corruption

From the NY Times:

"A former American occupation official in Iraq is expected to plead guilty to bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and other charges in federal court on Thursday for his actions in a scheme to use sexual favors, jewelry and millions of dollars in cash to steer reconstruction work to a corrupt contractor, according to papers filed with the court."

We need a Truman Comission style investigation of war profiteering and corruption. Eight point seven billion (that's a "B") went missing from the CPA, I want to know who's pockets all those c-notes ended up in.

"The terrorists win!"

Truer words have never been spoken. Yeah, I hear there's a game on Tues. I would love to come but I have an important class on Wednesday mornings and my work is really front loaded this week.

However, keep me in the loop. Thursday games are very easy for me to make since my first class on Friday isn't until 1:30. I'll come to any Thursday night game given one day's notice for child care.
