Wolcott on Brokeback, Medved, Imus and Tweety

Thought Cyberpollers would enjoy a hilarious new entry from James Wolcott, of Vanity Fair fame. Wolcott really knows how to dish it out, this time its hack flick "critic" Michael Medved who gets skewered.

UPDATE: Also a great take on the recent Osama surfacing and the Amuric'n media's clownish reaction.

A very funny bit, thanks.

I wonder if fools like Medved believe in anything other than self-promotion. While it may be true that nobody cares what Medved says, his career does benefit from the fact that he is practically the only right-wing movie critic.

In a better world, Medved wouldn't be able to function because his biggotry would prevent him from getting scoops on Hollywood gossip. Unfortunately, he can just reheat what he hears from Entertainment Tonight and ad a dash of hate.

I liked Imus enough, at least he hates Bush. It's hard for an old man with a hot young wife not to be a biggot.
