Al Gore's MLK Day Speech

I haven't read this yet, but I hear it's great. I'll catch up this weekend.

I watched him yesterday on CSPAN, if you get a chance to actually watch the speech I'd highly recommend it. The text is impressive but watching him deliver the speech and watching the audience respond really did my heart some good. There were a LOT of people in that audience, from both parties, and everyone was on the same page in their concern over how Bush is overstepping his authority. It wasn't about partisan politics, it was totally about defending the things we love about the country.

I'll check it out for sure. I know that there are some Republicans who realize the danger to our way of life that is posed by these radical neocons. However, far fewer than during the Nixon days. Back then Republicans like Baker were willing to impeach their leader, today they do the flak-catching.

RUN GORE RUN!
