CNN Licks Bush's Asscrack to Sharpen their Tongues

CNN's legal analyst, Jeffrey Tubin said of Bush's "need for speed" defense, "it is simply not supportable in fact or law" - pretty harsh words from such a loyal network.

However, he wavered when asked about Bush's argument number two (they always plead in the alternative – remember the justifications for going into Iraq?). He said that the administration at least had an argument to make that the authorization resolution preceding the Iraq war gave the president the power to suspend Constitutional rights.

No legal argument can be made that any act of Congress can suspend Constitutional rights. This is just not a defensible legal position. That's just not how the system works. You can make laws by passing something in the Congress, but you can't change Constitutional Rights without going through the Amendment process. Any high school civics student knows that. It's just pathetic that CNN's legal analyst either doesn't understand how his nation's laws work, he's totally full of shit, or he’s shilling for the administration. I must assume the latter.

Shilling for audience, perhaps, but, yeah, that's a shockingly inaccurate argument.

I detect, I might add, a certain preoccupation with things "homosexual" or ass-related recently, Demo...want to tell us all something?
