Send Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH) to Iraq

Dig the story on Murtha and the C-SPAN audio clip of Schmidt (who beat Paul Hackett by a hair).

The House goes ape, as well they should have, over Schmidt's outrageous comment -- Murtha, a coward? Anyone who disagrees with this war's continuance, let alone whether it should have happened in the first place, a coward?

Here's another coward/actual soldier on past and present lies. (For those without RealPlayer.)

This kind of rhetoric starts with an "f" and rhymes with "cashist". See if you can figure it out.

For the RealPlayerless -- get RealPlayer already!

Or, dig here.

If anyone can find the CSPAN video on that "debate" on the floor, Friday, but that bee-otch up, please!

Jean Schmidt is the real coward, she didn't even have the courage to allow her scripted comments to remain in the record. She begged to have them removed after discovering that nobody approved of her behavior. Looks like her seat will be up for grabs in 2006 too. Not that she's an exception in OH, half of the state's GOP officeholders are under indictment or in serious political trouble.

Dude, where'd you read/hear that? I'm checking the Cong Record.

What a total loser!

What? About having her words striken from the record? I heard it on CNN, NPR and Air America. However, it could just be a liberal conspiracy.

I can't believe there's a district in the country that is mentally ill enough to elect a peice of shit like her over a trial-lawyer war vet. Let's hope they get sick of this stuff and vote for sanity in 2006. She's gonna have a hard time running on "cut-and-run" about this time next year. This war isn't getting any more popular.

You're assuming that that district actually elected her, of course.

Also, I wasn't doubting that you heard it; I wanted to get a link to it up here.

I know, but I get lots of info from non-internet sources. I'll look for it later, I have a brief to do at the moment.
