Late Night TV

I can’t believe this. Larry King has a show on that started thusly: “it has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that is true, then a sound-bite can write a novel. CNN has made the “sound bite” the measurement of history, and we will trace some of the most important sound-bites through history, starting with Presidential sound-bites.”

Ann Coulter and others then provided commentary. The first bit was Carter’s audacious effort to make Americans aware of reality. You know the “malaise” speech? This program must signify the end of history. I just hope that whatever comes next isn’t narrated by the undead.
