Morality Test

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one.

By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please read slowly and give due consideration to each line.

You are in Florida - Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around
you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless and you're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury. Suddenly, you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer ...and discover that somehow, the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush! At the same time, you notice that the raging waters are about to pull him under.

You have two options: You can save the life of G.W. Bush, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize-winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men. So here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high-contrast color film or would you go with the
classic simplicity of black and white?

I think I'd opt for black and white. It'd look more artsy when I blew it up to 12' by 9' and plastered it on the wall, so I could wake up smiling everyday.

Been e-mailed around. Can't claim authorship.

Difference between a joke about one man's obvious incompetence and jokes about a race, IMHO.

I don't consider Our Leader above such treatment.

Hmmm...I`d have to think about the answer to this one and come back...
but then if I did that in reality, he`d have drowned, wouldn`t he...oops!

Oh god...I`d probably save the b*****d, and give him a lecture about the morality of being there to help others...
not that it would make any difference.

Story of the turtle and the scorpion seems horrenously appropriate here...
(Bush being the scorpion, of course)

There is a terrible flood, and to reach safety, the floodwaters must be crossed to reach the other side.
A scopion says to a turtle..
"let me climb onto your back and you can swim across, and we will both be saved"
The turtle says ," will sting me..."
The scopion assures the turtle that he won`t, and they set off into the floodwater.
Half way across, the scopion stings the turtle.
Dying, the turtle cries out,
"Why did you do that, now we will both be drowned...!!!"
The scorpion replies,
"I can`t help it, it`s in my nature."

I'd trade in my Leica for a thirty odd six, and take the shot the way is was meant to be done. Not black and white, just various shades of red.
